Tribal Belly Dancing
Tribal Belly Dancing- While approaching the ancient art of belly dance collaborated with a modern perspective, tribal style belly dance is that of timelessness and individuality. It is an amazing journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and the beauty that lies within each of us. In this class you will learn the fundamentals broken down into 7 parts: Posture, Isolation, Arms, Chest, Hips, Layering, and Levels. The class will begin with a yoga warm-up and end with a yoga "cool-down". Patience is key, for the mind and body will be learning to work together to create the beauty and movements that is tribal style belly dance.

Vinyassa Yoga
This class will offer a challenge for both beginner and more advanced students as you explore your own body and mind through breath and movement. Flow through a series of postures that will strengthen your body and mind while helping bring inner peace and awareness.

Hip Hop

Moromba
The Maromba fitness class, originally from Rio de Janeiro, is characterized by slow and fast repetitive and resistance movements of all musculature. It combines strength resistance, power, and aerobic movements to improve metabolism, cardiovascular, balance and strength performance all in one exercise modality. The modality includes music, rhythm, coordination and power. This is a 90 minutes class with 10-15 minutes of warm-up, 60 minutes of intense workout, followed by 15 minutes of cool down and relaxation techniques. Participants will be instructed to accommodate the movements to their own abilities and fitness level. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring an exercise mat as well as hand and ankle weights in the Maromba class: Hand weight: 5 lb- beginners/low fitness abilities 10 lb- Intermediate/ moderate fitness ability 15 lb- Advance/ high physical fitness (i.e. athletic level) Ankle weight: 5 lb- beginners/low fitness abilities 10 lb- Intermediate/ moderate fitness ability 15 lb- Advance/ high physical fitness (i.e. athletic level)
